October 25, 2002 Attendees: David Dew, Steve Edwards, and Kevin Barber Observations: The interiors of the Pavilion structure were getting rain. The moss brown structure was nearly completed, and the ceiling boards had not been started. The four cross brace trusses were installed, and completed the look and feel of the structure. No more trusses required. Stonework on the chimneys, and fireplaces was complete, and the crews were finishing up the exterior walls. Pavilion column bases are 50% complete. Cedar shakes are 95% complete, and will be finished next week. Drywall is complete and finished. Woodwork for the interiors is stocked in the proshop, and protected. Installation will proceed through the month of November. Interior window trim was mocked up. See recommendations below. The Heart Pine entry doors are on site and look terrific! Lake Toxaway Company will begin sitework and landscaping sometime in November. We discussed transitions for the pavilion to the tees and green, and possible seat wall configurations. This project is well organized, and quality is present throughout! Recommendations: Colors, carpets, wall finishes and light fixtures still need to be selected! These items are holding up the finishing contractors. Interior window trim was approved with the adjustment of the parting bead below the header. This parting bead will be rounded on all exposed edges in lieu of squared off. The interior trim at the proshop windows by the fireplace will be similar to the exterior, and have a square edge stop picture framing the vertical cypress infill below the window.
