Many people agree that having an honest and trusting relationship with your builder is the most important aspect in building a quality home. We discovered that this was particularly true as absentee owners living several hundred miles away from our construction site. With our architectural plans completed, we then interviewed three different builders to construct our Arts and Crafts mountain home near Brevard. While all three were quality builders with excellent reputations, John Wimberly stood out as one who was interested in not only our project, but one who showed a genuine interest in us as persons. Throughout the interview process we became convinced that Wimberly Construction would not only build for us a quality home but would minimize any apprehension we might feel due to our absence during construction. We were kept apprised of all the construction phases on a weekly basis. Through the use of digital photography and the internet along with frequent phone calls from the building superintendent, we were never out of touch and were confident that no important decisions were made without our reaction and input. We were very pleased with the finish work of Wimberly Construction craftsmen.

We are pleased to say that the 11 month long project was very pleasurable and rewarding. The house is beautiful and met all of our expectations. We look forward to spending many years in our Brevard mountain home and cannot thank John Wimberly enough for making this a smooth stress-free reality.
